Anti-gay grad student files appeal to stop university from expelling her
In my opinion, as I am in the healthcare field as well, You have to be diverse, and it’s being ethical. You are going to come into contact with all types of clients, including ones like myself (as I am a lesbian). You are there to treat the whole person, and not tell them their “beliefs” and lifestyle and the way they were born is wrong! Being LGBTQ is how we were born, you cannot change that. We deserve rights just as any other person.
My advice to her is change her attitude and beliefs about how she works with LGBTQ clients (if anyone would go to her for advice, who is LGBTQ I would be shocked.) Or she will never make it as a counselor.
You must treat everyone as equals and we are humans, we deserve the same rights.
Last thought: Change your attitude or change your major….

new to tumblr
Hi, I am new to tumblr, looking to network with people and share ideas and experiences. I used to write a lot when I was younger, and I want to get back into it. I feel it’s my ultimate way of expressing myself. I am very passionate about my beliefs and love to share them, as well as listen to and open myself up to others opinions and beliefs.
So here goes nothing! looking forward to some great discussions!
Sincerely,

What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.” Ralph Waldo Emerson
